Founded in 2025 by artist Sam Dewey, The Etruscans is a women-owned fine jewelry brand based in New York City. We create substantial pieces made to be worn daily, combining artistry with practicality. Our ethos is to craft timeless, heirloom-quality pieces that transcend seasons and trends, designed to be cherished today and passed down for generations to come.

Our jewelry is meticulously crafted from the finest raw materials, including 18K gold, and sterling silver. Our gemstones are ethically sourced from trusted, USA-based partners and are fully accredited by the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA), ensuring the highest standards of quality and responsibility.

The Etruscans is inspired by the Etruscan civilization of Tuscany (8th-3rd century BCE) and the joy of imagining a bygone era. Etruscan women were leaders, aristocrats, politicians, and business owners—central figures in a society where women held power and influence, unlike their Roman and Greek counterparts. Our creations pay tribute to these influential women, reflecting the timeless elegance of Etruscan artifacts and celebrating their legacy of empowerment and creativity. The Etruscans is a salute to their enduring spirit.

All of our jewelry designs are created in-house and produced responsibly in New York City. We use an ancient process (the same process that Etruscans used to metal smith) to create our jewelry called "Lost Wax Casting." All designs are initially created by hand with jewelers wax and then cast in metal. Through the Lost Wax Casting and finishing processes all jewelry pieces are uniquely their own.
